[독서후기] 죽은 시인의 사회 (Dead Poet Society)

죽은 시인의 사회...

 

어렸을 적에 로빈 윌리엄스 주연의 영화를 보았었다.

 

이미 그 당시의 줄거리, 그리고 감동과 뛰는 가슴은 잊은지 오래되었다.

 

역시 사람이 망각의 동물이라는 말이 사실인 것 같다.

 

바로 어제 일도 까먹는데, 하물며 십여년 전의 일을...

 

서울에 NECSEC을 다녀오는 길에 서점에 들렀다.

 

많은 책들이 있었지만, 당연스레 손이 갔다.

 

오면서, 버스에서, 집에서 4시간 동안 읽었고,

 

여러차례의 감동과 전율, 그리고 눈물을 경험했다.

 

이레저레 삶에 치이고,

 

꿈이나 잠재된 욕망을 억누르고 사는

 

하찮은 소인의 가슴을 움직여주었다.
